Rich and I always like to travel and see the country. We love the outdoors and nature. We crave the simple peace of nature and have spent our lives together taking every opportunity to travel and see the beauty around us.
We spent many years hiking and taking day trips to nearby parks and places. We spent some time tent camping in state parks. By April 2022, we sold our stick and brick house, sold almost everything we owned, and bought an RV. We are both officially retired from our day jobs and are now full-time travelers in our RV.
As we prepare to spend the rest of our lives exploring as much of this beautiful country as we can, we knew that purchasing the America the Beautiful Pass would benefit us greatly. Finding that most national sights and parks charge a hefty entrance fee, it was financially smart to purchase this pass for $80 for a year.

Dhani turned 62 in December 2022, so we purchased a lifetime pass for him. With this, we get to visit any national park or monument without paying the $30 entrance fee most of them charge per vehicle for the rest of their lives. Some entry fees are over $30. In fact most major national parks charge $35 per day to enter. I recommend considering this purchase if you hope to visit many of these national locations.
