The good news: Las Vegas notoriously has a lot of hotel rooms, which keeps prices low — and they’re usually subsidized by the casinos, which keeps them even lower. The bad news: Every hotel has a daily, non-negotiable resort fee (usually including things like Wi-Fi and gym access), which can sometimes be painfully close to the cost of your room.
Best Hotels To Stay At On The Las Vegas Strip
Back to the good. Located in the state of Nevada, in the US, there is no high season in Sin City as such, although summer prices tend to be lower due to the sweltering heat. That said, the city is packed on weekends, meaning amazingly low prices can be found between Sunday and Thursday. However, major conferences can push prices up during the week, so always check around for dates.

Hotels in Vegas used to be cheap(ish) but grim. Luckily they’ve done a 180 in the last 10 years, and you’ll be hard-pressed to find a bad room here. But instead of sweating it out looking for your perfect stay in Sin City, we’ve done the hard work for you with our roundup of the best hotels the city has to offer.
Vegas wouldn’t be Vegas without the dancing fountains of Bellagio. Inside the hotel it’s just as chic: there’s a grand conservatory in the marble and gold lobby, which hosts spectacular seasonal exhibitions. The in-house entertainment is provided by Cirque du Soleil (the show here,
, is considered one of the best), and one of the hotel’s restaurants is called Picasso, because there are real Picassos on the walls. And close to the classic statue-flanked swimming pool is an art gallery with old masters.
The rooms match the rest of the décor, with a silver-blue palette, neat floral bathrooms and great views. The Strip View rooms have side views of the fountains, but it’s worth upgrading to a Fountain View room, where you’ll be right in front of the show.

One of the hotels-within-hotels where Vegas does really well is the Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace, where the rooms are a lot better than the generic Caesars Palace rooms. Nobu Matsuhisa collaborated with David Rockwell on the Japanese-inspired design – think calligraphy-like swatches behind the bed and towels hanging from wooden ladders that lined the black-tiled bathroom walls.
The separate entrance to the hotel – at the back of the Caesars casino – gives an atmosphere of exclusivity, just like checking in to the room. Everything in the rooms, from the art to the contents of the minibar, has been hand-picked by Nobu and 24-hour room service is provided by the largest Nobu restaurant in the world.
What was once the Monte Carlo was reborn as this massive development, including an Eataly food mall and the T Mobile Arena in the back.
The rooms have a boutique feel, with their mismatched art behind the beds, pops of bottle green and wine red on the walls, and tiled bathrooms. This is confident – not overdone. Stay Well rooms feature memory foam mattresses, air purifiers and window seats.

With Eataly’s food stalls, this hotel is a great choice if you don’t want to go out of your way to dine, and it’s also in a good location, at the south end of the CityCenter complex and about a 15-minute walk from the Bellagio .
The Rat Pack’s old favorite, Sahara, returned to the Strip after a brief stint between 2014 and 2019 as the “SLS.” First opened in 1952, this is where mid-century A-listers like Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Jerry Lewis would hang.
The rooms in the Blanca Tower again have a Moroccan theme, with nods to North African patterns on the headboards. Meanwhile, the Marra Tower rooms are light and airy, with a few surprises – including a rock star pillow with leather chair and bed, created by Lenny Kravitz. The Alexandria Tower is the way to go, though, with a Versailles feel and wonderfully outré rooms: chandeliers, white chaise longues and Marie Antoinette-inspired tapestries.
Despite its location on the North Strip (you’ll have to take a cab for the action), the more extravagant rooms are decidedly Vegas.

What used to be the dazzling Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall was reborn in 2014 as The Cromwell Las Vegas, a relatively small hotel with “only” 188 rooms. It claims to have a British theme, although the damask walls and Italian-style chandeliers aren’t as English as the Chesterfield sofas and backgammon-style coffee tables. This is proudly not your average casino hotel.
Drai’s, the famous night bar at Bill’s, has now doubled in size, with a day and night club on the roof and a late-night lounge in the basement, while the restaurant, Giada, is run by American TV chef Giada de Laurentiis .
Book a room with a Strip view at Paris Las Vegas and you’ll look past the Eiffel Tower to the Bellagio Fountains. This is one of the most ridiculous casinos on the Strip, and all the better for it: the toilets sing to you in French, the faux-paved public areas look more

The rooms were renovated in 2019 with burgundy patterned curtains and contrasting carpets. Choose a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower for the full experience.
Best Places To Stay In Napa Valley
This hotel, in the suburb of Summerlin, is where locals come to stay. The Red Rock – which takes its name from the Red Rock Canyon, the national wildlife refuge it overlooks – extends over 70 hectares of land.
The location – 20 minutes from the Strip – means you get more bang for your buck. Think some of the largest rooms in Vegas (overlooking the sandstone cliffs of the Strip or Red Rock), a large pool and an excellent spa.
The casino has natural light – unheard of in Vegas – plus onyx walls. If you worry less about your Instagram feed and value space and value more, this is a good choice.
Bugsy Siegel single-handedly kicked off Vegas as we know it when he opened the Flamingo in 1946. Previously the action took place in downtown Las Vegas, but things soon moved to the desert Flamingo and the Strip was born.

Today it’s overshadowed by its newer, more luxurious neighbors – which is why its rooms are some of the best in the city. All have been renovated within the last 10 years and have a fun, tropical vibe, with a bright pink palette and lots of candy stripes (get a Strip View room for a stellar view of the action).
The 6-hectare tropical pool area is another highlight – especially because there are real flamingos around.
If you want to be in Vegas without being overwhelmed by Vegas, this all-suite, non-gambling hotel is for you. It’s in the center of the action – in MGM’s chic CityCenter development – but away from the Strip.
The apartment-style suites are non-smoking, huge and feature high-tech amenities, deep soaking tubs and pillow-top mattresses. All have beautiful views of the Strip or the desert, and some have a kitchenette.

This hotel-within-a-hotel is located in the already sophisticated Park MGM. A sibling of the seriously chic New York and Los Angeles NoMads, the rooms were designed by French architect-designer Jacques Garcia, including in-room bathtubs and chic French-style artwork.
The restaurant and bar are dark and sexy, with deep red Chesterfield sofas in low light, and there is also a Moroccan-inspired swimming pool.
