The staff were very friendly but the rooms were very hot. Spacious rooms. The pool and hot tub were great. A bit small but overall great. You may need to go over cleaning your room, mine was not that clean and I had to change the sheets that had hair and stains on them. Oh and there is a dog hotel next door be prepared to hear dogs at dawn like 6ish

This is my 3rd time staying at this hotel when I visit San Antonio with family. Really enjoy the cleanliness of the rooms and breakfast is great too! Love the indoor pool and jacuzzi they have. My kids enjoy it as much as I do since it’s inside. The location is close to all downtown attractions and there is also a grocery around the corner in case of any needs. This is our go to place when staying in San Antonio.

The room was fine until I was leaving and checking if my kids had put anything in the drawers. I noticed trash and product left in a drawer from the previous occupants. So clearly the room was not cleaned well. I asked to speak to a manager and the girl working the desk asked how she could help. I brought up this and another issue that they apparently have no control over so I will have to deal with someone else on that. He was never able to speak to the manager though.

There were three beds, which helped a lot, but you have to go to beakfast early because there wasn’t much space for sitting. The pool was clean, but we had received the last 3 towels. parking was free and easy. Not really walking distance to the Alamo or La Villita

The room was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The air conditioner was not noisy. The staff were attentive to our request to check on a refrigerator that was not working. It was found not to be plugged in. Why wouldn’t it be plugged in when it needs to be taken completely out of the box it came in. This is something that should be taken care of through housekeeping or maintenance so that it is running when it arrives. We arrived on a weekend and no one could look at it until Monday. They came immediately this morning. However, we could use it to work over the weekend. Furniture is worn. Scuffed dressers would not stay up and drawers (2) closed. There were seat cushions on the sofa and in the armchair which were smooth and ready. Convenient location to walk to Riverside (almost 1 mile) Historic Old Market (3/4 mile)

Very clean hotel, staff were always attentive and helpful. The location was close enough to the town center and avoided the traffic that usually builds up. What I noticed is that it is right next door to what looked like a power plant.

I just got back from my trip to San Antonio. I stayed at Best West Alamo Suites at 1002 S Laredo St., San Antonio. Everything seems to be fine. BUT until the 2nd day the same breakfast as yesterday. BDW I stayed there 5 days. I asked the front desk ‘Is breakfast the same every day?’ ‘Yes.’ ‘Why?’ ‘The boss said so.’ So I ate the same breakfast for 5 days. I’m tired of eating the same breakfast. Why breakfast every day the same???

Great staff, spacious, quiet room, great breakfast, free parking, about a mile and a half from the Alamo and River Walk. This is a good place to stay that has free parking but is still easy enough to get to the attractions downtown. One member of our party walked there in half an hour or so.

We came to San Antonio chose this hotel for the indoor pool very clean and the hotel was nice the staff was friendly everything is near river walk shopping and breakfast food was great and fresh and the t – excellent internet

It’s a nice property in downtown San Antonio, just a few miles from the River Walk. The hotel is not far from the intersection so going back to the intersection was not an issue. The rooms were clean and quiet, the staff were friendly.

The hotel was clean and located a little outside of downtown San Antonio. Easy access to the Riverwalk and downtown. Good location for the price. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

The front desk was rude, unhelpful, and had terrible hygiene. Individually wrapped soaps in the bathroom were opened and used when they arrived. The pictures online did not match the building/neighborhood. Overall a very poor experience. Do not praise.

There was a large room with 3 beds with grandchildren. The breakfast was varied and good. The assistant was so nice and helpful. The indoor pool was perfect for no sunburns and to stay out of the heat. Kids really liked the Disney channel.

The woman wanted to go to San Antonio for her birthday and stay downtown but not break the bank. There were 3 beds in our room so our 3 children were happy that they were not cramped. The hotel is also in a good location.

Our room met all the needs of our family; we were very happy to have a tub in the bathroom for our children. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space in the room. My children loved the indoor pool and the ladies serving breakfast were very kind and helpful. We loved our stay!

Hotel In San Antonio

We just got back from a road trip through Texas and New Mexico. We stayed here when we were in San Antonio. Hotels in the area were expensive and this Best Western fit our budget. We were minutes by car from the River Walk and the Alamo. The boys have recently been remodeled. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were clean. We are a family of five with three teenage boys. We were very comfortable in our room. There was plenty of space in our room. I would highly recommend staying here if the downtown hotels are out of your budget.

I have stayed in other BW hotels before and had a great experience, this one is the worst I have ever been to. The rooms smell bad, they need an upgrade on paint furniture, and they clean the carpets; they are other hotels with better quality at the same price and closer to Alamo and River walk. The description on their website is different from the reality.

I was also disappointed in this hotel. The photos are definitely nicer than the hotel. I booked this based on the photos, previous reviews on trip advisor and the location to the river walk. It wasn’t in the best part of town and there is a dog lounge or residence next door where you hear dogs barking a lot. If you are lucky enough to get a room on the side of the hotel, I felt better with the car there than the back. Breakfast area was very small. Be there early to get a place and to the place where there are not too many people waiting for you
