Yes recently got my tesla which you use for work for a delivery company and allstate took 2+ weeks of no response to calls/, voicemail or my dashcam showing their driver is clearly at fault. Allstate was a pain in the ass after they finally responded within 15 days of accepting responsibility and wanting me to pay the rent and then give me back wtf they are also trying to deny me the income payment because I need it. a doctor’s note stating that I am unable to work. . They are very disappointed as they do not accept responsibility and I have not received rent for 16 days, which in theory is reasonable to compensate for their delay tactics and not allow me to receive rent and continue working. Lmk how are things going as I am still in the process of repairing and want to be paid lost wages and low cost claim even if it is $1k car is new 4k miles 55k now showing accident.
Get a lawyer! Their actions and inactions have caused you harm. They can pay all that, plus punitive damages and of course legal costs. If you can’t work because you don’t have the necessary transportation to do the job, they take responsibility. Without a lawyer, they will not agree to rape in the beginning and little in the end.
I’m glad you’re a good man. My car has been out since May and I have lost over $30,000 in wages and I want to go after the person who hit me. Unfortunately I drive for Uber, but they don’t have black qualification so I drive with X. Please register to join our discussion with 2 million other members – it’s free and fast! Female Pepperdine University Students Killed Alongside Highway
I came home last night to find that a drunk driver had crashed into mine and several other cars on the road. I’ve never had anything like this happen before, and I want to make sure I don’t. So far I haven’t been able to find out who he is, the police have him in custody but I haven’t received a police report or know if he even has insurance. The damage is more severe to the driver’s side rear tire. Do you think this has strengthened the body? Does it sound like something that might be worth putting together? I’m having a repair tomorrow and I don’t want to just accept it when he says “oh it can be fixed”. Help me guys.
Do you have uninsured motorist insurance if your husband doesn’t have insurance? You need to let your insurance take over the paper chase at this point.
I think it’s all inclusive. I’m not even sure it’s salvageable. Basically to drive you will need to replace the entire rear, mostly the left side of the car, and probably the roof. That’s basically half the car right there. The cost would be more then the car is worth. Do the doors and trunk still open?
I didn’t try to open the door or the trunk because I didn’t want to do any more damage. But from the looks of it, the body seems to be missing, so I doubt if I open it, it will close again. Same with the door.
Who Is Liable In A Car Accident
Yes, I do. The problem with that is that they said it could take up to 10 weeks to get the papers from the police. Meanwhile, I’m stuck with a $500 deductible that I may not even get back. :/
Maybe not, but what’s the alternative? No car for 3 months (the 10 weeks plus the couple to fix it)?
Let’s be honest, the only way you can tell if a car is totaled is to take it to a body shop. That should be the next step if you haven’t done so yet.

Pedestrians Killed When Crash Sends Car Onto Manhattan Sidewalk: Nypd
How you handle the situation depends on several factors. For example, did the other driver leave a note? How big was the loss? If people were inside the car, were there any injuries?
Someone hit your parked car and left a note. Although it is not a very good situation to be in, at least you have some kind of lead to correct the situation.
The note should have the other driver’s contact details and ideally insurance information. If their insurance information is missing, contact the driver to get their insurance company name and policy number.

Although the incident may seem trivial, it is worth contacting the police for a number of reasons. The police will file an accident police report, which, depending on the severity of the accident, may be required to file an insurance claim.
Pedestrian Hit By Car Settlement Guide
Some states also require you to file a police report when an injury, personal injury, or death occurs as a result of the accident.
Walk around the scene of the accident and write down everything you see. If your car has been hit while parked on the road, talk to people around you to see if they saw anything. Write the relationship of each witness.
Use your cell phone to take pictures. Include photos of any damage to the vehicle, damage (if applicable), and other details The more photos you take, the better off you will be when dealing with the insurance company or the police.
If you weren’t in the car, you wouldn’t have a bodily injury claim, only a property damage claim. So, you can call the insurance company, instead of the lawyer. If so, get the insurance claim process by contacting your insurance company immediately after the accident. Retrieving the details of the accident is much easier if you contact your insurance company immediately instead of delaying the call.

Assuming the driver who hit your parked car is at fault, you can claim compensation from the other driver’s insurance policy. If you have accident insurance as part of your plan, you have the option to apply to your insurance company as well.
You know someone hit your parked car but didn’t leave a note. What are the options?
Failure to leave a note may result in a hit and run from a parked vehicle. Hit and run is a serious crime and, if caught, can result in fines and even jail time.
In general, the steps to take when someone hits your parked car and leaves without a note are the same as if they left a note. Obviously, you won’t be able to contact the driver, but calling the police, documenting the accident (including talking to potential witnesses), and notifying your insurance company should be standard protocol.
What To Do If You’re In A Carpooling Accident
If it was a hit and run and the driver was unavailable, you will need to file a claim with your insurance company. In this case, there are usually two types of insurance that may compensate for any loss:
It is important to note that accident coverage is usually optional in most insurance policy plans. Also, uninsured motorist coverage is not mandatory in every state. You need to check with your insurance company to see what coverage you have when it comes to hit and run.
Your insurance premiums after someone hits your parked car may go up or down, depending on the insurance company. If it is not your fault, the insurance rate should not go up at all. However, insurance companies have their own internal guidelines for increasing or decreasing rates. Many claims in a short period of time, for example, can result in price increases,
