Las Vegas Shows Mystere Tickets – There are so many live shows to choose from in Las Vegas. If you have children, you will be limited. One family-friendly show you must see is Cirque du Soleil’s Mystère. Adults and children alike will be amazed by the incredible acrobatic performances, the intriguing story and the out-of-this-world scenery and environments.
Mystère has its own theater built in the Treasure Island Hotel & Casino. Every seat in the house is a good one in this intimate theater. We arrived about 1/2 hour early and the line was already long. Luckily it moved quickly!

Before Cirque du Soleil’s Mystère began, the audience was entertained by an older clown. He acted like he was helping people into their seats and taking them all the way to the front row, only to lose their tickets in a helium balloon or take people back to where he started. It was fun. He also stole popcorn from some people and gave it to others or threw it into the crowd. My husband was a victim of getting a whole bucket of popcorn on his head. It was funny! To our delight, he came and went throughout the show with various clown gags and audience participation.

Parking at Treasure Island is free, which we appreciated. As we walked to the elevator we saw a creepy guy in makeup with high eyebrows, I rushed my kids to another entrance. Another family did the same. It’s weird in Vegas, you know. Turns out our weirdo was actually one of the characters Mystère created! ha! How we wish we had known that!
The story line of Mystère follows two giant babies who process a mystical world around them. It’s definitely not a world because it was filled with unique creatures! I felt like we were watching a very strange dream world throughout the show.
The stage was always alive with athletic acrobats, dancers, musicians, bright colors and unique creatures! There’s so much going on that it’s hard to take it all in. Every seat in the house is good because the theater was built just for this show.
One of our favorite activities was the two-faced people wearing masks on the back of their heads. They climbed and jumped up and down the poles with amazing skill and strength. Their heads seemed to be tilted back as we watched them climb the pools, with their faces always facing us. You wouldn’t believe this act showcases absolutely amazing feats of strength, flexibility and grace! It was incredible and unlike any circus I have ever seen!

We always love silk dancers too. There were several who climbed, swung and fell with silks with incredible grace and athleticism.
During the show, there are several trapeze, seam and traditional acrobat performances. The costumes and characters were in keeping with the out-of-this-world, dream-like theme. The giant babies watched and walked around the act throughout the show, usually in a state of awe and wonder – that’s how we all felt!
The behavior of the strong men was absolutely amazing. The strength they displayed was unmatched by any I have ever seen. At one point, the entire audience went wild when one performer had the entire weight of both men on just one calf muscle. It was so extreme I can’t even explain it or think about it!
As with all Cirque du Soleil shows, the live music and singing were outstanding. The two singers had sung so airily that it evoked such emotions that I was watching their performance more than the acrobats. What a talent to host Mystère by Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas!!! The entire performance, from the premiere to the finale, will fascinate both children and adults. This is one Las Vegas show the whole family is sure to enjoy.

Some of the things Mystère is known for are the neat acrobatics, circus acts and of course the theatrical visuals. The true spirit of theatricality is captured in this production, which features beautiful costumes (not just the performers, but also an impeccable production) with a perfect score to create an experience that makes for nothing but a magical night at the theater.

Some of the best acrobatic acts that still stun the audience are bungee (artists who jump with rubber bands in the sky), Taiko (artists who swing to powerful rhythms on Taiko drums) and Flying Trapeze. You can also see the performers jump between the four silver sticks with stunning agility. Obviously, the shows have evolved over the years, but the core “feel” of the show remains the same, as Franco Dragone (of La Perle fame), one of the original creators of Cirque Du Soleil, insisted that the audience was never separated from the artist by a curtain.
