Today (September 1, 2020) Spirit Airlines (NYSE: SAVE) announced daily nonstop flights from John Wayne Airport (SNA) to Las Vegas and Oakland starting November 17.
Spirit landed in California more than 20 years ago with its first flight to Los Angeles (LAX), launching two decades of growth in the Golden State. In subsequent years, the airline expanded its options for Guests in the L.A. area. with service to Burbank (BUR), and also expanding to serve Sacramento (SMF), Oakland (OAK) and San Diego (SAN).

Spirit’s arrival at SNA opens up unified access to cities across the country. The airline will offer Guests two daily flights from SNA to Oakland International Airport (OAK) along with daily service to Las Vegas McCarran International Airport (LAS). Flights to LAS come with convenient connections to 15 other major US cities. Travelers arriving at SNA will find themselves closer to Disneyland thanks to the airport’s magical location.
