Letter To My Son On His First Birthday From Mom – A year has come and gone faster than I could have ever imagined. It feels like just yesterday you were this little kid who depended on me for everything. Who wants no one but Mom. I wasted the days before you were born where I would just sit in the shower, rubbing my stomach, telling you to be strong and never stop fighting (Little did I know in the physical way you are telling me the same). It’s just you and me. I will always cherish those moments. After that, one year ago today, 20 days before your day @ 5:07pm on Wednesday, you blessed us with you ahead, we are strong, beautiful children. I have never been so nervous to meet someone in my life but still, you took my breath away the moment I laid eyes on you. I’m afraid to even hold you, this precious little human with big brown eyes (Like mom), lips just like your daddy and a head full of shiny hair. After 35 long hours of picturing what you would look like, I couldn’t have been more excited about how beautiful you really are.
From the second you took your first breath, you beat the odds, and you continued to show everyone how strong you are and after 5 days in the NICU I got to take my precious baby home. My wonderful child, the one they told me I could never bet on yet here you are doing better than ever. One year today and full of life. So sweet and loving, but still so goofy and dramatic. It definitely gives me a run for my money every day. Some days we cry, some days we laugh, sometimes mom even gets a little angry and cries, because that makes me sad. But no matter what I can’t imagine living life without you because “You are the reason that even in the sad part of my life I smile.” It makes me happy when there is no joy to be found. In the darkness you are the light. It gives me a reason to keep going, a reason to love and a reason to live.”
Letter To My Son On His First Birthday From Mom
I love waking up to your sweet smile and those big brown eyes in the morning. To your sweet kisses and you jump in every mom. I love writing it and playing with it and watching it grow every day. I will forever cherish these moments with her as she grows older every year and doesn’t need me for things anymore.
Heartfelt And Encouraging Sample Letter For Son
This has been one of the most emotional years of my life, yet it was also one of the best years because I got to spend it with you. I hope even after everything you’ve been through it’s a great year for you too. With two open heart surgeries, many doctor’s appointments, and many tears you never let him down. My sweet boy you always keep a smile on your face, you are the strongest person I know. Giving birth to you will be one of my greatest achievements in life. If you happen to read this one day I just want you to know that enough is enough and I will not change you even if I have the chance, I will take you the way you are again. I want you to be a hero, make mistakes, live your life to the fullest and never look back because when you fall I will always be there to catch you.
There is so much more I can say but just know at the end of the day I will always love you more than you will ever know. I can’t wait to spend many more birthdays with you and I hope Mom can make her special day one to remember. I recently read a beautiful letter written by a mother for her daughter’s sixteenth birthday. It was moving and soulful and tender, fun and funny. There was a lot of special love between that mother and her daughter—I could tell.
I am a big fan of leaving things unsaid and legacy. This letter does both. The mother left no doubt about how she felt about her daughter and created a family history for her daughter and generations to come.
In this letter, the mom shares stories about what life was like when she was expecting her little girl, details about the pregnancy, what it’s like as a mother to this new baby, and many other amazing details about the little girl’s life. this and that. family. Details you may never have known about if your mother hadn’t taken the time to write them down.
A Letter To My (adopted) Son On His First Birthday
The woman who wrote this letter told me that many of her friends who have read this letter have been affected by money and marriage, and they want to know how to write letters to their children. Although the woman did a beautiful job on her letter, she did not consider herself much of a writer, and said that neither did many of her friends who read the letter. “They don’t know where to start or what to say.” Well, to borrow from The Sound of Music, “Start at the beginning. A very good place to start. “
Everyone loves a story—especially about him or herself. This past summer I spent a week with my sisters at the lake and two weeks ago, the better part of a week in a hospital room with my grandparents and several family members. Hearing story after story from mothers, aunts, cousins and grandparents is amazing. No matter how good the story or the details are to you, it may not be to the person listening to the story. My 91-year-old grandfather told me last Thanksgiving that he really regretted not asking his parents more questions. There are many things you wish you had answers to.
Share memories: Think about some special customs, jokes, sayings and memories that mean a lot to you and then write them down.
Share your feelings: This is a big one. Don’t let your son or daughter ask how you feel about them. Tell them and tell them (and show) often. It doesn’t have to be funny or poetic, just speak from the heart.
East Coast Mommy: A Birthday Letter To My Middle Son On His 16th Birthday
What do you love most about them? I love watching my child experience things for the first time. Her eyes sparkle when she laughs and she has the cutest little boy laugh. I love staring at her freckles and eye lashes. I love how my daughter is comfortable in her own skin and is loyal to those she loves. I love your freckles, too. I always tell my kids “I love you to the moon and back, endlessly”. These are the things you want to write down so one day when they go off to college or they just get married, or if you’re gone…they’ll have this letter to read when they miss you and your words and The feeling of love for them will come back and fill them, just like when they were children.
Do life lessons and values: Have you learned a special lesson or have a special skill or values that you want to give to your child, or remember it? Add them here.
Connect: Now that you have some facts, stories, memories, feelings and lessons, connect everything together in a story. Start from the beginning and add details.
Not much of a writer? Don’t let that discourage you. Use your own voice and keep writing and polishing until it sounds good to you. The thought, effort and time you put into your letter is the gift. A gift that will be valued above all others.
