Nous avons passé de très bon moment au premier chapitre, même si nous avons dû le refaire 3 fois pour y arriver. J’ai l’habitude des jeux de stratégie, Mice and mystics est très punitif à cause de son système baso en grande partie sur les jets de dé : 2-3 ennemis qui ont de la chance, les personnages qui n’en ont pas , et c’est fini.
Ar en est maintenant à plus de la moitie de la campagne, ar s’efforce de le finir pour pouvoir revendre le jeu, car celui-ci à énormément de défauts:

Quêtes annexes dénouées d’interêt : on s’est bien embêté à faire la première (prevenir Maggie), pour qu’au final cela ne serve strictly à rien sur les chapitres suivants. Supporting, ar ne les fait plus, car c’est une perte de temps et de risques pour perdre toute la partie…

Taking place in a magical kingdom ruled by a royal family, Familiar Tales sees one to four players become a team of familiar wizards tasked with protecting the heir to the throne. With the royal family struck by “sinister forces”, the players must escort the youngster through the dangerous desert and away from harm. However, with a magical transformer making more evil plans, the players will need to use all the magical power at their disposal to stop them.
A narrative-driven fantasy board game, Familiar Tales has players becoming the unusual guardians of a princess. Not only will the players have to protect the princess against those who wish to see her dead, but they must also ensure that she is raised learning the right lessons and acquiring the right values . As her protectors, players will need to make various decisions that will shape the worldview of the princess, giving them a direct hand in shaping the future of the entire kingdom.
The cooperative deck-building game will take place over several decades, with a companion app helping players tell the story and make decisions along the way. The Familiar Tales companion app will feature narration, as well as a musical score for players to listen to – it also includes a digital rulebook. Throughout the game, the player characters will gain experience that they can use to customize their skill card decks, which they can use to perform various actions in the campaign. Players can collect resources that can be used to craft new items, weapons and armor.
