Morning Prayer To My Husband – Praying for God and spreading God’s Word over our children is one of the best gifts we can give them.
However, the more I walked with God, I understood how important prayer is to my husband. After years of trying to change him and trying to make him “Holy Spirit Jr.”, I realized that prayer was the key—not my advice or complaints.

Not only do I put it on my calendar, but I have a few points and prayers that help guide my prayers.
I don’t want to pray just for the sake of praying, I want to see the real change and power there is to it.
It is a time of war and I am there to protect, protect and plead – not in my power, but in the name of Jesus!
Teaching the scriptures about him will help him become the man God called him to be.

** As a side note: Just because I pray for him in these areas does not mean he is not doing well in them. I pray to God for areas where he is wise as well. Why? Because I want it to be good for them. There is no area where the enemy will not try to come.

He builds up others and uses his words to glorify God. (according to Ephesians 4:29) My husband is an example to others in speech, behavior, love, faith and holiness. (according to 1 Timothy 4:12)
Father thank you for my husband’s relationship with God. The Lord still surrounds him with men who think about Your heart. Help him speak quickly and listen to his friends. Protect his mouth from saying anything other than what builds up the listener and praises you. Give him divine connection throughout his days. Let him be a light to those around him. Physical Health My husband will be healthy and prosperous, even as his soul prospers. (according to 3 John 1:2) My husband was disciplined when he ate and worked hard. He controls all desires. (according to 1 Corinthians 9:27)
