The 3.9-mile elevated system along the Las Vegas Strip will continue to operate with trains arriving every four to eight minutes at each of the seven stations, including:

Taxis are a reliable form of transportation that has been used throughout Vegas for decades. With so many companies to choose from, you never have to worry about not having enough drivers at a late hour. Unlike other cities, you cannot hail a taxi on the street in Las Vegas. Taxis are required to pick up passengers at accommodation, such as on the way to a hotel. Hotels have designated taxi stands, usually near the valet or the main entrance.

Getting Around In Las Vegas

The Harry Reid International Airport Rental Car Center has 10 car rental companies in one location. The facility is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with a continuous shuttle service to and from the airports. There are many independent rental sites throughout Las Vegas and a few on site at certain hotels, but the airport is the most convenient.

Ride-sharing, commonly associated with Uber and Lyft, is the most convenient way for travelers to get around their destination, regardless of where they are in Las Vegas. It’s as easy as downloading the rideshare app of your choice, entering some information, and waiting for your ride to show up.

Limousines are a fun and comfortable way to get you from the airport to your resort and around the city in style. While limos are available at Harry Reid International Airport, your best bet will be to make a reservation. If you’re celebrating or just want to feel like a Vegas VIP, book a party limo or ask about a luxury Strip cruise.

The Deuce is Las Vegas’ public transportation operated by the Regional Transportation Commission. While the bus goes to every destination, there are two routes you can take specifically for the Strip and downtown. The Deuce on the Strip will stop at nearly every resort on the Strip, while the DVX runs a short distance downtown and on Fremont Street. The Downtown Loop is a free shuttle that takes guests around the exciting downtown Las Vegas area, including the Arts District and the Fremont Street Experience.

Transportation In Las Vegas: How To Get To The Strip, Fremont Street, And The Airport

The newly opened Vegas Loop at the Las Vegas Convention Center provides fast and affordable transportation for convention and trade show attendees to the LVCC campus, connecting the new West Hall with the existing campus (North/Center/South hall). The Vegas Loop at the Las Vegas Convention Center has officially opened the Resort World passenger terminal, providing direct access to and from the Las Vegas Convention Center. Four passenger stations (see map below) provide easy access between LVCC destinations and nearby transportation connections, such as the Las Vegas Monorail. Between the gambling and the shows, Vegas can be expensive. But getting around is expensive if you use this full list of Las Vegas shuttles.

I love Las Vegas. There is so much to do, so much to see, so much to eat, so many reasons to visit Sin City.

But, all those things add up and Las Vegas can be a very expensive vacation if you’re not careful.

We have this whole post about free Las Vegas shuttles available. Updated in 2021, based on all the information we could find when we were there this summer.

Las Vegas Monorail: Stops Hotels, Prices, Schedule And Map

What’s more, in addition to the free shuttles Las Vegas offers, we have information about other public transportation and auxiliary transportation in Las Vegas.

You can take taxis around Las Vegas, and there are also ride options, but that can be very expensive. So hit these options instead.

The Downtown Loop is a free shuttle between the following downtown attractions: Bonneville Transportation Center, Arts District, South Arts District, Pawn Plaza, Fremont East Entertainment District, Mob Museum, Fremont Street Experience, Las Vegas North Premium Outlets, Symphony Park, The STRAT Hotel, Casino and SkyPod (also known as the Stratosphere), Circa Resort & Casino, and City Hall.

The Gold Coast is off the Strip, so hotel prices are very affordable. This is where we stayed in 2011 and paid less than $35 (plus holiday tax) for a weeknight. But the thing is, since the Gold Coast is off the Strip, it’s not a convenient place to stay… unless you consider the free shuttle.

Getting From Charles De Gaulle (cdg) Airport To Disneyland

There is a parallel shuttle from the Gold Coast to Orleans (another casino off the strip) to the Fashion Show Mall.

It used to go to the Linq (formerly the Imperial Palace), which was in the middle of the Strip and a very convenient stop. But now its only stop on the Strip is the Fashion Show Mall.

It’s free, even for non-hotel guests, although you must be a B Connected member. That is a casino loyalty program, which is free to join.

Although the shuttle is complementary, there is a tip jar placed by the driver, which you must use.

The Palace station, located off the Strip, used to run the hotel’s free shuttle to the Fashion Show Mall and the T Mobile Arena.

Sam’s Town is 6.5 miles from the Las Vegas Strip, which is quite a walk. It’s also too far to stay without a free shuttle. There was a Sam’s Las Vegas cruise that went directly to Harrah’s, which is on the Strip between the Linq (formerly the Imperial Palace) and the Venetian. Non-hotel guests may ride the shuttle, if room is available.

However, as of October 2021, that flight is now defunct. When it returns, we will update this section and its hours.

In the meantime, you can continue to check the Sam’s Town website to wait for transportation information to return.

Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino

The city of Vegas is where Las Vegas began. Fremont Street is the first piece. There are a number of casinos and restaurants there and Downtown Vegas is a fun place to visit. Fortunately, you can get there for free on the Sam’s Town ferry.

Like the other shuttle from Sam’s Town, this is free for hotel guests, but non-hotel guests may take it if space is available.

And, like the other shuttle from Sam’s town, as of October 2021, this shuttle is currently inactive but should return soon.

I’ve stuck to Las Vegas hotel shuttles from casinos only on this list. Most non-casino hotels, resorts, and timeshares offer shuttles, but even those with very limited availability.

Las Vegas Holidays & City Breaks 2023 / 2024

The M Resort Spa Casino is located in Hendersonville, which is near Las Vegas but not Las Vegas. There are a few casinos out there that way, though. To entice guests, the M Resort Spa Casino runs a shuttle to the Tropicana on the Strip (near the MGM Grand and across from the Excalibur).

The shuttle runs five times daily and is available for guests of the M Resort Spa Casino. A room key may need to be shown to board the shuttle.

This ship appears to be suspended, as of October 2021. Many amenities at M Resort Spa Casino that were closed due to the global situation have reopened recently, so we expect this to return soon.

The hotel, which is the official hotel of the Las Vegas Raiders, offers a game day shuttle to Allegiant Stadium for hotel guests only. There is no ferry back to the hotel, so game-goers must make other arrangements for the return trip.

Aria is such a beautiful casino. It was less than two years old when I first saw it, and it had a brand new feel to it. I’ve been there, but never to Silverton. Mainly because it’s off the Strip, so it’s a little awkward.

If you choose to stay there, however, you can take the free (for hotel guests) Silverton Casino shuttle to Aria (near the Cosmopolitan and across from The Shops At Crystals). It
