Restaurants Near Flamingo Las Vegas – Flamingos have been a fixture on the Las Vegas Strip since the 1940s. Although a lot has changed at the resort since then, one thing has remained the same: there’s still plenty to do at Flamingo.

With over 90, 000 square feet of gaming space, including 1, 900 slot machines and 89 gaming tables, Flamingo is a gambler’s paradise.

While gambling certainly steals the show, many people don’t realize that there’s plenty to do in and around the resorts besides gambling.

Visit the Wildlife Habitat: Located at the back of the resort near the pool area, Flamingo’s free wildlife habitat is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the casino.

Resident animals on display include pelicans, ducks, fish and, of course, flamingos. Stop by between 10am and 5pm to buy a unique souvenir with one of Flamingo’s parrots.

Flamingo’s GoPool: Flamingo’s GoPool offers a party atmosphere that you can use even if you’re not a hotel guest (provided you purchase a daybed or cabana).

People-watching at Flamingo’s Outdoor Bar: Located on the south corner of the hotel overlooking the Strip and Cromwell, this bar is the best spot on the Strip for people-watching.

Horseshoe Las Vegas

This was a place my wife and I frequented and saw street performers, police sting operations, and lots of interesting people passing by.

Visit Margaritaville: Margaritaville is a tropical island-themed restaurant and bar for those looking to leave their “real world” worries behind. This is the perfect destination.

Notably, the Jimmy Buffett-inspired bar offers an all-day happy hour, offering relatively cheap premium drinks, draft beers, and snacks.

Play Beer Pong: The Bird Bar, located on the Strip near the front of the hotel, offers many beer pong tables that are free for anyone to use.

Check out Piff: You may have seen Piff the Magic Dragon and his dog Mr. Piffles, the first Chihuahua to perform magic tricks, on America’s Got Talent. They now perform their wry, hilarious magic at the Flamingo in Las Vegas.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Live: RuPaul’s Drag Race is based on the hit reality show and features some of the world’s most famous queens. Especially popular with bachelorette parties, RuPaul’s Drag Race is one of the most popular drag shows in Las Vegas.

Watch a Burlesque Show: If you’re looking for a more “Vegas” style show, look no further than X Burlesque.

A topless burlesque show popular with bachelorette parties, bachelorette parties and couples, tickets are just $50 and are as follows:

Watch Wayne Newton: Channel your inner Alan Griswold and become obsessed with Mr. Las Vegas himself in “Wayne: Close Encounters.” Set against the backdrop of the cozy Bugsy Cabaret, you won’t want to miss this chance to see classics like “The Winds of Summer” and “The Days” in person.

Visit a Speakeasy: I recently visited The Count Room, a speakeasy that’s part of Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse and has an unassuming “secret door” near Flamingo’s Food Court.

I stopped by a group of people at a recent show and was blown away by their talent. We planned to stop for *1* beer, but ended up drinking *a lot* more.

FlyLinq Zipline: I recently had a go at the FlyLINQ Zipline, which flies passengers high above the LINQ Promenade toward the High Roller Wheel.

Fire Breaks Out Under Iconic Golden Steer Restaurant Sign

The ride was exciting, but the views were just “okay” compared to SlotZilla on Fremont Street. However, I think it’s still a good deal at half the price.

Straight to the Ice Bar: Also located along the LINQ Promenade, the Minus5 Ice Bar is made of ice and enjoys a balmy 23 degrees Fahrenheit.

You can see my full review of the Minus5 Icebar here , but suffice to say I enjoyed the relief from the summer heat.

High Roller: The iconic 550-foot-tall High Roller is located on the Linq Promenade. Enjoy stunning views of Las Vegas on a 30-minute round trip in one of the 28 pods on the High Roller Wheel.

Fontainebleau Las Vegas Restaurants Begin Taking Reservations

Although a little more expensive, I recommend riding at night when the lights are on in Las Vegas. High Roller also offers an all-you-can-drink open bar package called the Happy Half Hour for an extra $20 or so.

Wandering the Forum Shops: The mall itself is not that exciting, but this is no ordinary mall. The Forum Shops, located across the street from the Flamingo at Caesars Palace, is a photo spot in itself.

While the stunning architecture and themes are the main reasons to stop, the Forum Shop also offers a free animatronic “The Fall of Atlantis” show every day. Not worth going out of your way to see, but worth a look if you’re in the area.

Check out the free lounge events: Head via LINQ to Harrah’s, where the piano bar offers 2 unique free shows.

The Hottest New Restaurants In Las Vegas, November 2023

In the first installment, Pete Vallee plays Big Elvis (The Big Elvis Show Schedule), who plays Elvis hits and obscure songs on request.

Another is the Duel Piano Show (Duel Piano Show Schedule) starring twins Tamara and Kim Pinegar, offered nightly.

Enjoy Live Music at Carnaval Court: Nestled between the Linq and Harrah’s, Carnaval Court is one of my favorite live music bars in Vegas. There you’ll find bands like The District, The Droids, the Whip It, and more.

Free shows nearby: The Phantom Volcano’s free show erupts every night, with choreographed music and a lively atmosphere. Among Mirage’s most popular events, this freebie doesn’t disappoint.

You can also swing by the Fountains of Bellagio, which dance every 15 to 30 minutes every day. After visiting the fountains, stop by the Bellagio and stroll through the greenhouses and botanical gardens.

Even if you don’t have a huge gambling budget, there’s plenty to do in and around Flamenco to keep you busy – have fun exploring!

I’m a former software salesman turned Vegas enthusiast. While the craps table is my favorite habitat, I also take time off to explore new attractions, shows, restaurants, and outdoor activities around Las Vegas with the goal of sharing my experiences.
