Round Trip Tickets To Amsterdam

Now that overseas travel is back with a vengeance as most countries relax their COVID-19 guidelines for tourists, it’s time to map out your fall plans for Europe. There are some great deals out there, especially if you’re interested in visiting Amsterdam and seeing where its legendary red light district has moved.

Amsterdam Schiphol Airport: Arrivals, Departures And How To Get From The Airport To The City Center

Flights from departure cities like Chicago, Los Angeles and Newark are seeing some big discounts right now for travel later this year, with some routes available from the low $300s.

Most of these fare sales are for economy tickets, so checked bags will cost more. Prices vary between airlines, so check with the airlines to be sure. It’s helpful to keep these fees in mind when figuring out the best itinerary to book.

The best availability is for travel between September 2022 and March 2023. You’ll also find some fares that include the Thanksgiving holiday, and wouldn’t it be a great time to visit some of Amsterdam’s legendary Christmas markets?

Thanks to Scott’s Cheap Flights for first discovering this new offer. Their basic membership is available for $49 per year. The Elite tier option is available for $199 per year, which gives you access to first economy, business and first class ticket deals.

Flight Deal: U.s. To Amsterdam From $426 Round Trip

How about Chicago (ORD) to Amsterdam (AMS) for just $302 round trip? You can book this route on TAP and get a free carry-on. Checked bags will cost more, of course. Note that the departure flight is on Halloween, so if you have small children who like presents, you may want to find a different day to depart. This price is a real treat, though.

As we mentioned earlier that this sale includes Thanksgiving, here’s a round-trip itinerary on TAP from Newark Liberty Airport (EWR) to Amsterdam (AMS) for just $410 with a return flight on the day after the holidays.

We also found plenty of availability for flights from Newark in February, like this TAP ticket to Amsterdam, which is just $424 round trip. This is a great price for a ticket this time of year.

Round Trip Tickets To Amsterdam

We found great deals from San Francisco (SFO) to Amsterdam in the fall, like this October itinerary on SAS for just $448. This is a huge savings over regular prices. You get a free carry-on bag, but keep in mind that it can cost $60 or more to check a bag each way. Even with that in mind, this is an excellent price.

Air Tickets On Ratehawk

Another route we found with good availability in this sale was Baltimore (BWI) to Amsterdam. This February round-trip fare on Icelandair is just $461, a nice reduction from regular prices. The same deal as with TAP and SAS; you get a free carry-on, but upgrading to an inclusive fare will cost you a lot more.

Boston (BOS) to Amsterdam in January and February is available for $457 round trip on SAS. It’s a great price. We also found good availability for this route in November.
