Shows In Vegas December 2021 – Every year, thousands of locals and visitors enjoy Christmas in Las Vegas. There are so many Las Vegas Christmas events and experiences to enjoy, both off and on The Strip, that it’s no wonder Vegas is a top vacation destination.
The weather in Las Vegas during the holiday season is quite chilly, and I have visited on several occasions when it snowed! So gather up and enjoy our favorite Las Vegas Christmas events for 2023.
Shows In Vegas December 2021
Magical Christmas is the second year in Las Vegas during the Christmas season. It will be open November 24 – December 31, 2023. It will be located in the Las Vegas Ballpark.
The Best Time To Visit Las Vegas
Immersive holiday light experiences of this kind are popping up all over the country and we’re all in!
There’s a new Santa Clockwork Maze (perfect for great Instagram photos), an ice skating rink, a meet and greet with Santa, a children’s play area, and plenty of gourmet holiday treats to enjoy. This is a popular Christmas attraction in Las Vegas, so buy your tickets in advance.
Twinkle Lights is a holiday light ride experience on a 2.5 mile course on the Las Vegas Strip, running from November 9, 2023 to January 7, 2024 from 4:45-9:00 PM (Monday-Thursday) and 4:45-10:00 PM :00 on weekends.
There are more than five million twinkling lights, 600 animated displays, nearly 200 light trees and even a live nativity to enjoy. Drive in your car or buy a Santa Tram ticket and skip the queues and watch them from an open-air vehicle.

Best of all, a portion of your entry fee goes to fund over 50 children’s charities throughout Southern Nevada. In fact, the money raised makes up a large portion of these charities’ annual donations.
You can purchase your tickets in advance, and even buy a Fastpass if you want to skip the line. It is the most popular Christmas attraction in Las Vegas with over 250,000 visitors a year.
From November 3 to December 31, 2023, Ethel M Chocolate Factory’s cactus garden will be decked out in 500,000 lights, animated characters and other holiday decorations. This is the 30th year that the annual events have been held.
A stroll through the gardens is only $1 per person, so come for the chocolate and stay for the barrel cactus, yuccas and prickly pears covered in lights. Just remember to look but don’t touch – ouch! Don’t forget to keep an eye out for Santa. Bring a toy and non-perishable food for donation.

There are also holiday crafts for the children to enjoy. During your visit, families can send their letter to Santa and receive free gifts while supplies last. There is also a toy shop where the kids can vote for all the things they want for Christmas.
Of course, kids always love checking out the aquariums and wildlife displays inside the store. If you’re visiting on a weekend in December, be sure to stop by the Silverton Casino to check out the Santa Underwater Dive between 12:00 PM – 1:15 PM or 2:00 PM – 3:15 PM.
Another very popular Las Vegas Christmas event now in its 30th year is the Enchanted Forest. Over three million twinkling lights on hundreds of trees.
There will be an avalanche slide, carousel, train, escape rooms, games, mini golf, and lots of food, drink and photos, including photos with Santa.

All money collected at the Enchanted Forest goes to programs at Opportunity Village that help more than 3,000 people with disabilities. This year’s event takes place on the evenings of November 24 to December 31, 2023.
The ice rink returns for another year November 10, 2023 – January 15, 2024. It’s a festive open-air ice skating scene with a 40-foot Christmas tree next to the rink and an abundance of lights overhead.
There’s also a holiday train that circles the rink and plenty of festive holiday music to keep the mood going.
Why does a parade have to last only one day? The Downtown Summerlin Holiday Parade takes place on Fridays and Saturdays at 5:30 pm from November 17 through December 16, 2023.

The show is performed by local children from local high schools, dance teams and theater companies and features floats, characters, dancers and much more! All shows are free and open to the public. The parade takes place in Center Drive Park.
Sam’s Town has long been a favorite casino among locals and their Mystic Falls Park is always a crowd pleaser, but come the holidays, it gets even better!
Play during the nine-minute show which runs from 2pm to 10pm, November 24, 2023 to January 1, 2024.
New for 2023 at M Resort is Rockin Christmas, an audio-visual experience featuring millions of colorful LED lights and hundreds of moving displays in a mile-long rocking musical experience. This event claims to be the largest animated light show in the world.

Las Vegas Christmas Events and Attractions on The Strip Ice Rink at Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
For the 10th year, the roof of the Cosmopolitan will have an outdoor ice rink! The boulevard pool is frozen and you can’t beat ice skating!
There will also be fire pits for roasting s’mores, food and drink (including seasonal cocktails for mom and dad), the occasional “snowfall,” and even holiday movies playing in the background.

Ice rink open December 1-25, 2023. Hours vary. All-day skating access (including skate rental) is $20 for local, military and first responders (Monday through Thursday). It’s $30 for everyone else. Snow showers occur every 30 minutes at select times throughout the season.
The LINQ Promenade is already a very popular attraction on the Las Vegas Strip, aside from the 550-foot High Roller.
But during the holidays, the boardwalk turns into a winter wonderland with lights and festive decor and a glittering holiday light show on the high roller.
Features more than 2,000 LED lights synchronized to popular holiday music during the nightly “Lights at The LINQ” show.
Las Vegas Holidays 2023/2024
In what has quickly become a holiday tradition, the Aria Resort and Casino will once again create a giant gingerbread house display. It will be on display in the main lobby until the first week of January.
Expect it to be massive in size (think 15 feet tall and seven feet wide!) and made of an obscene amount of sugar. More than 400 pounds of gingerbread go into this heavenly creation, as well as 200 pounds of frosting and a thousand pounds of candy!
If looking at the gingerbread masterpiece makes you crave something sweet, you’ll be happy to know sweet treats and hot drinks will be on sale on site.
Every year we all look forward to the Bellagio going all out with their impressive and beautiful holiday display inside the Bellagio Conservatory.
Free Country Concerts: Downtown Hoedown 2023
Highlights include a 40-foot tree, polar bears made of carnations, a train and penguins both made of red and white roses, and a huge snow globe.
The whole scene is truly a work of art and every year it changes. The holiday display will be available for viewing from December 2 to January 7, 2024. The conservatory is open 24 hours a day.
Don’t forget to take time to watch the Fountains of Bellagio put on a water show choreographed to your favorite holiday songs. The water shows during the holiday are played from December until the first weekend in January. I think it’s most magical to experience it in the evening.
Get your holiday shopping done and get into the holiday scene on Road Trip to the North Pole at the Las Vegas Fashion Show. There will be a place to take retro holiday photos in the Great Hall November 24 – December 24, 2023.

There will also be photos with Santa near Neiman Marcus and Holiday Glow Live, a hip musical showcase featuring your favorite holiday characters.
Terry Pator is known for winning America’s Got Talent with his family-friendly comedy The Heart Bee. Popular puppets such as Winston, the Snapping Turtle and a few other favorites will be making an appearance. Children must be at least 5 years of age or older to enter the theater.
