Current resident since January. I was forced to live here under the circumstances. This being the Seigal Suites, I wasn’t expecting much. It was fine at first. The MLK location was one of the best I’ve ever seen. Office staff are generally polite. It was broken, the cupboards were broken, it smelled bad, the carpet was stained and smelled bad, when I first moved in there were roaches during the day… It took me 3 weeks to get rid of them. I’m a smoker, I smoke outside, I hate indoor smoke. If you stay here, BE PREPARED TO BE FULL OF WEED SMOKE in your apartment. I live upstairs and have very old walls/closets (rotten wood, HUGE HOLES) so the weed smoke comes right into your apartment. Not good for children. These people don’t need to work, they smoke at home day and night. All my stuff smells like weed, when I went to work and analyzed it for the smell, I was shocked. And the usual DV, yelling, gunshots, cops… I was planning on staying a while and was going to talk about the usual stuff you hear in Suites, but I CAN’T FOR A LONG TIME… it’s scary. Urgently looking for another place!
I know that when you rent an apartment at a large corporate property, you don’t expect great service, granite countertops, squeaky clean…nothing. But since moving here, the rent has skyrocketed, the extras have gone up, the needed repairs have been left half done, the bug problem is gross and relentless, the walls are thin – forget about peace and quiet, relaxation with upstairs neighbors, etc. . Siegel Suites, you somehow failed to meet my low expectations; If your goal is to take advantage of the financially vulnerable and then squeeze whatever you can out of them for substandard living space, then congratulations – mission accomplished.

Worst experience of my life living in this place. I moved furniture to throw it all away because of the bed bugs. Over $2,000 worth of furniture was lost. Management, ROSE and GINA are liars and cannot be trusted. ERROR, ERROR, ERROR! ROACHES, OR BUGS, JUST BAD! DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO LIVE HERE!
When it rains, the bedroom ceiling leaks, bugs, unlivable, 100 percent restoration project required. New appliances and carpet badly needed! Sorry if the wording is confusing, bad phone. Thank you all for reading and paying attention
