I received instructions on how to organize the trip and proceed in September 2020. Unfortunately the work was delayed until November 2021 due to the pandemic. Because the original date was cancelled. So I received another $1,100 for the plane ticket. Caesar also decided that this would be the last year of this event entirely.
The top prize after two slot tournament rounds is $1,000,000 — paid at $50,000 per year over 20 years or in reduced lump sum payments. The top 30 finalists will receive cash prizes. I was told there were 750 spots in the competition.
I placed 6th in a blackjack tournament in Vegas. and prizes are paid out in slot credits or table credits. For Millionaire Maker, prizes are paid out in cash.
Because I was able to book with Alaska Airlines, I was able to cancel the first flight and add $1,100 to my Alaska Airlines wallet for future flights. Then, I booked another $1,100 flight for me and my guest. Then, I Book a new flight using the Alaska Companion Fare and put the price difference in My Wallet. The final price for both flights was $532, which meant I could pocket $1,668 for future flights.
Slot Machine Tournament
We arrived in PHL around 4:00 PM on Thursday. and can immediately hop on a Caesars-provided bus to Atlantic City. Due to traffic jams So it took us about an hour to reach the hotel.
The first round is on Friday. And I checked in at the Caesars Rewards kiosk around 11:30 a.m. I headed to the Event Center and got in line. The crew working on the event appeared to come mostly from other Caesars locations in Atlantic City. And he didn’t seem too prepared for the tournament. Overall, the first day was pretty chaotic.

I finished 32nd out of 36 during the round and was nearly eliminated from the tournament. I still played the next day. But since it was a combination of rounds 1 and 2, I knew it would be hard to stay in the top 30.
After playing the first day of the tournament My friend and I took the Caesars shuttle to the Boardwalk to tour Atlantic City and do a status match.
On Saturday night, starting at 5:30 p.m., Harrah’s is hosting a celebration dinner where winners will be announced. Dinner was in the convention center at Harrah’s.
The food is self-service buffet style. One unique option is the mashed potato bar, where you add the toppings of your choice.

During dinner A band was playing cover songs on stage and there was a dance floor in front. One singer is a pit bull impersonator.
At 7:30 p.m., the names of the lucky winners will be announced and they will receive their prizes. The 30th place winner had a total of 152,000 points. My two-day total was about 133,000, so I barely won.
The million dollar winner was Judy Stokes. I watched her round and heard her say that she placed 1st in her group both days. So she knew she had a good chance of winning the top prize. Several Caesars executives attended the giant check presentation.

Overall it was a fun weekend. Besides dinner There is still only four minutes of tournament play time per player. That leaves plenty of time to explore and gamble.
