So I thought I would share it.

This is a very beautiful card. I think they used all 8 basic colors. The leaves, the flowers, the turtle in the background and the butterflies all sparkle.

I will paint my living room and kitchen, happy from me. BUT first I have to get rid of all the boxes, bags and piles of “STUFF”. Now when you have these “THINGS” every day it doesn’t seem like much, so when the designer tells you what you have to do is move the furniture in the middle of the room and everything else outside the room. room, you look around and reply “no problem”. Ha Ha Ha, so you start removing all the damage, and you think this would be a good time to get rid of all this “STUFF”. Well now you start to realize, as you pick up paper after paper to look at and see if you need to keep it, WOW THERE ARE GREAT PAPER PICTURES.

Then you start taking a lot of magazines, stacks of papers etc. to the bedroom. Well now after working all day and all night, you realize that the worst thing about getting old is that your mind can’t remember that your body doesn’t have to do all this walking and lifting because as you age your bones get worse. This affects you more when you feel pain like the devil is dancing inside your back, and your head takes strong pain pills and sits on the bottom of your bed.

However, one of the things I picked up yesterday was this card that I thought would be perfect for Mother’s Day, it’s so cute:

This came to me from my two granddaughters, Ann Marie and Cheryl back in 1983.  I love where Grandma Bird lives, and I saw a little lady climbing the ladder. It’s the cards with the little touches that bring a big smile to my face.

This is a sweet little Teddy Bear. If I haven’t mentioned it before, Korey and I both collect Teddy Bears. They have flowers for you but are a little shy around strangers. Have a great Mother’s Day everyone and if you’re not a mom have a wonderful Sunday.

I received this from my eldest daughter Helen and her husband Chris way back when it was undated, but it must have been in the late 1970’s. Sorry to say the music doesn’t play anymore.

This is a very beautiful card, the flowers and pussywillows look so real, I wonder if this is a photo.

I don’t remember how the edges got wet, so many years ago, but I thought this was such a cute card that I decided to post it anyway. This was from my oldest daughter, Helen, back in 1972.

This is a lovely, lovely card. I really like the red background and the single flower in the glass vase. It is an American Greeting card 35M 1601-25 and was sent to me by my eldest daughter Helen in 1975.
