However, all these things add up and Las Vegas can be a very expensive vacation if you are not careful.

We have this whole post about the Las Vegas free shuttles that are available. It is updated for 2021, based on all the information we could find when we were there in the summer.

Plus, in addition to the free shuttles Las Vegas offers, we have information about other public transportation and complementary transportation in Las Vegas.

You can take taxis around Las Vegas, and there are rideshare options, but these can be really expensive. So use these options instead.

How To Travel To Las Vegas On Points And Miles

The Downtown Loop is a free shuttle between the following downtown attractions: Bonneville Transit Center, The Arts District, Arts District South, Pawn Plaza, Fremont East Entertainment District, Mob Museum, Fremont Street Experience, Las Vegas North Premium Outlets, Symphony Park, The Downtown Loop. STRAT Hotel, Casino & Skypod (formerly known as The Stratosphere), Circa Resort & Casino, and City Hall.

Gold Coast is off the Strip, so the prices for this hotel are super affordable. This is where we stayed in 2011 and paid less than $35 (plus the resort fee) for a week. But the thing is, since Gold Coast is off the Strip, it’s not an ideal place to stay… unless you take the free shuttle into consideration.

There is a complimentary shuttle that goes from the Gold Coast to the Orleans (another casino off the strip) to the Fashion Show Mall.

It used to go to the Linq (which used to be the Imperial Palace), which was centrally located on the Strip and a super convenient stop. But now the only stop on the Strip is the Fashion Show Mall.

It’s free, even for non-hotel guests, although you need to be a B Connect member. This is the casino’s loyalty program, which is free to join.

Although the shuttle is complementary, there is a top jar located by the driver, which you should use.

Palace Station, which is off the Strip, used to run a free-for-hotel-guest shuttle from the Fashion Show Mall to the H Mobile Arena.

Sam’s Town is 6.5 miles away from the Las Vegas Strip, which is just too far to walk. It is also too far to stay without a free shuttle. There was a Sam’s Town Las Vegas shuttle that went directly to Harrah’s, which is on the Strip between The Link (formerly Imperial Palace) and The Venetian. Non-hotel guests may ride the shuttle, space permitting.

However, as of October 2021, the shuttle is currently not running. When it’s back, we’ll update this section with its hours.

You can now continue to check the Sam’s Town website to wait for the shuttle information to return.

Downtown Vegas is actually where Las Vegas started. Fremont Street is the original strip. There are a bunch of casinos and restaurants there and downtown Vegas is a fun area to check out. Luckily, you can get there for free with the Sam’s Town shuttle.

Like the other shuttle from Sam’s Town, this one is free for hotel guests, but non-hotel guests can take it if there is room.

Giving Rides At Popular Places In Las Vegas

And, like the other shuttle from Sam’s Town, as of October 2021, this shuttle is currently not running but should be back up soon.

I stuck with free Las Vegas hotel shuttles that depart from casinos just for this list. Many of the non-casino hotels, resorts, and timeshares offer shuttles, but the list is also overwhelming.

The M Resort Spa Casino is located in Hendersonville, which is near Las Vegas but is not technically Las Vegas. Although there are some casinos. To entice guests, the M Resort Spa Casino runs a shuttle to Tropicana on the Strip (next to MGM Grand and across from Excalibur).

The shuttle runs five times daily and is available to M Resort Spa Casino guests. A space key may appear to be on the shuttle.

Excalibur Hotel & Casino Uber Lyft Pickup/dropoff Point

The shuttle appears to be on hold as of October 2021. Many of the amenities at the M Resort Spa Casino that were closed due to the state of the world have reopened recently, so we expect that to be back soon.

The hotel, which is the official hotel of the Las Vegas Raiders, offers a game day shuttle to Allegiant Stadium for hotel guests only. There is no shuttle back to the hotel, so game attendees will need to make other plans for the return trip.

Aria is such a beautiful casino. It was less than two years old when I first saw it, and it had that brand new feel to it. So I’ve been there, but never to Silverton. Mostly because it’s off the strip, so it’s a bit inconvenient.

If you choose to stay there, however, you can take the free (for hotel guests) Silverton Casino shuttle to Aria (next to the Cosmopolitan and across from the Shops at Crystals). It runs four times daily.

Mccarran International Airport In Las Vegas

As of October 2021, the shuttle cannot run. But we’ll update this post as soon as it’s back.

The following hotels offer free hotel shuttles in Las Vegas between the mentioned Las Vegas hotel and the airport. This service is available only to hotel guests (of the hotel).

A shuttle runs from the downtown Grand Hotel to the Strip and back, but as of 2021, the shuttle is no longer in service.

There is the Downtown Loop, which is a shuttle around various locations in downtown Las Vegas, including Fremont Street.

There are no shuttles from the Strip to Fremont Street, however, the RTCtransit bus runs a route from the Strip to Fremont Street.

The free Las Vegas shuttles aren’t the only ways to get around Las Vegas. Check out the other options below.

The bus is a pretty affordable way to get around Las Vegas. You can buy a two hour pass for $6 or a 24 hour pass for $8. There are also reduced fare options for certain groups of people.

The bus has multiple routes that go from the Strip to downtown and beyond. You can see all the routes on the RTC transit website.

The Las Vegas Monorail runs from Sahara to MGM Grand. Tickets are $5 for a single ride and $13 for a 24 hour pass.

Pricing for these apps change quickly, based on driver availability among other factors, so you may want to switch between the two to find the best pricing.

Traditional taxis are available in Las Vegas. You can find them outside casinos and the airport in designated areas.

The free Aria Express tram runs between the Park MGM, the Crystals shopping mall (which is the Aria stop), and the Bellagio. It runs daily from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Transportation In Las Vegas: How To Get Around

There is a free tram between Mandalay Bay, Excalibur and Luxor. There are actually two stops at Excalibur on the tram. It runs from 11:00 to 10:30.
