The Venetian Hotel Las Vegas Pictures – Of all the hotels in Las Vegas, few have the same splendor as the magnificent Venetian and its twin property The Palazzo.
The complex is the second largest hotel resort in the world by number of rooms and the architecture is stunning, with the Grand Canals of Venice reproduced in perfect authenticity.

While most Las Vegas mega-resorts are operated by either MGM Resorts International or Caesars Entertainment, the Venetian is not affiliated with either. That means the owners make the property a higher priority than others on the Strip, but its rewards card doesn’t get you anything the moment you exit the resort.

The Venetian, along with the Mirage, is at the northern end of what most people think of as the central Las Vegas Strip.
However, much further than it actually is. Much of this is due to its distance from the road, which means it can take a while to even get to the Strip before you can start exploring it.
However, its location is generally ok. Mirage is across the street and Harrah’s is next door. Wynn/Encore and Treasure Island are slightly to the north, and the newly constructed Resorts World complex is also nearby.
As mentioned, getting around from the Venetian can feel a bit more difficult than it is for other properties due to the time it takes to get out of the resort.

Generally, though, you’ll find that most Vegas icons are within walking distance. Paris and Cosmopolitan can be a trip, but Caesars Palace and Bellagio are easier.
There are no pedestrian bridges on this section of the Strip, so you’ll have to test your patience while using one of the crosswalks to get to the Mirage and Caesars Palace.
To access the wonderful MGM properties south of the Strip, I recommend hopping on the Las Vegas Monorail from neighboring Harrah’s and riding it to the MGM Grand.
Without a doubt, The Venetian and Palazzo have the best standard rooms in Las Vegas. And the bar for that is incredibly high.

A deluxe king suite is the least you’ll get. It is a huge area of 650 sq. ft, with a living area on a small scale and it really feels incredibly premium. The bathrooms are also spectacular.
You can upgrade if you want, and the rooms only get more spectacular when you do, but why would you need to?
The hotel’s facilities are also premium, with a large pool complex, a salon, a spa, a gym and a business centre.
The gaming area is also one of the largest in the city, and the Palazzo has another one as well. You can read more about the Venetian casino in our separate guide.

Venetian food options are far too numerous to cover them all, but suffice it to say, you’re unlikely to find a wider selection of quality restaurants anywhere in the city.
Fine dining can be enjoyed at Mott 32 (Asian) and there are no less than three steakhouses in the resort. As you would expect with the theme, there are also plenty of Italian options to enjoy.
Besides Mott 32, Asian cuisine lovers can enjoy themselves at The X Pot, Noodle Asia, The Hong Kong Café and TAO Asian Bistro.
If you like more casual dining, you’ll want to check out one of the two on-site Grand LUX Cafes, especially if you like a buffet breakfast and Rockhouse. Royal Britannia Gastropub is another great option here.

There are also a couple of seafood restaurants and two serving Mexican cuisine, one of which has Canalside dining.
You’ll also find the Grand Canal lined with smaller bakeries and fast food outlets, and the food court that’s attached to the gaming floor is one of the best in Las Vegas.
The variety is equally impressive for nightlife, with TAO a true destination for many. There are also several cocktail bars and even a Karaoke Bar for those so inclined.
Spiegelworld’s Atomic Saloon Show is the one in residence and it’s exceptional. There is a Cowboy theme that provides a rowdy and heady ride through the wild and wild west. Expect to see a nun appear as well.
The Venetian Resort And Casino, Las Vegas Hotel
The Venetian also has a very large theater and fills it with a host of guest stars and shows.
Chicago, Willie Nelson and ZZ Top are just a few who have made brief stints there in the past. Indeed, there is rarely a time when a headliner does not appear on the Venetian skyline.
The theming at the Venetian is at such a level that the resort itself is a huge attraction. The Grand Canal and its gondola rides are probably one of them.
You can choose to be ferried in a traditional Venetian boat, serenaded as you go.
The Palazzo At The Venetian (las Vegas)
At the time of writing, the incredible MSG Sphere is nearing completion. When it opens, it will offer the Venetian a domed music venue with an LED-covered exterior and is sure to be a big hit with visitors for years to come.
There are several pools, all with a very different atmosphere, and it is possible to get a sunbed by the pool.
Cabanas are available for rent, as are lounge chairs and premium lounge chairs. You can also enjoy a drink by the pool and a spa treatment, while there are two different pool clubs to join for the party if that’s your kind of thing.
The Venetian is an incredible resort that is incredibly easy to love. The theme is the best in Vegas and manages to maintain an incredibly high-end feel around it.

Cons: The location isn’t the best, mostly due to the length of time it takes to get from your room to the Strip. It is also very expensive. It’s worth that price, but there are much cheaper options.
