If you’re trying to decide whether or not to add The Buffet at the Wynn to your itinerary, you’ve come to the right place. Having been to Las Vegas over 25 times, I can help you plan your trip. Las Vegas is where you can find the biggest and best buffets in the world – with lots of variety,
And the quantity. However, not all Vegas buffets are created equal. The first tip you’ll receive about visiting The Buffet is to make your Wynn Buffet reservations.
When you click on the link above or here, you will be able to reserve a time slot and pre-pay for your visit. Only, The Buffet at the Wynn doesn’t actually call this a reservation. This is an advance payment to speed up your arrival and this means “secure your place in line”.

When you arrive, there are two lines – the regular waiting line to get in and then the “priority” waiting line. The priority line is for those who have “reservations” or have pre-paid for their visit and “guaranteed their place in line.”
Even if you do, you’ll likely have to wait a bit. The buffet says that “priority seating guests” will be seated within 30 minutes of your arrival time. We waited about 15 minutes or so, which wasn’t too bad.
If you are a hotel guest, you can still reserve priority seating in advance and have your meal billed to your hotel room.

Basically, gourmet seating includes a wide range of different cuts of meat. Also, for example, there is currently a limited-time Seafood Gourmet restaurant which includes a wide selection of meats as well as an extensive seafood selection.
Tip: As someone who dined at both the “regular” and “gourmet” buffet, I didn’t notice much of a difference other than several additional meat selections. So, unless you’re a true carnivore and this is important to you, I don’t think it’s important to sit anywhere you attend.
If you’re someone who avoids buffets because you don’t like the idea of piles of substandard food, you don’t have to worry about that here.

The buffet selection is definitely high. A fantastic selection of ‘gourmet’ favorites with high quality ingredients. There are 16 “live” kitchen stations created by Executive Chef Jason Duarte.
From grilled meat platters to dim sum options, there’s also a wonderful selection of thoughtful small plates. Individual servings of spinach and artichoke dip with a few chips, chicken and biscuits, and ribs with sweet potato fries. There’s sushi-glazed cornbread, honey and much more.
There is a very large Latin food section – called “The Latin Street Food station”, including a “live action” taco bar, made to order. You can order as many tacos as you want.
Listen, I get as excited as anyone when I see pretzel rolls. Although seeing thin, delicate rolls is appealing, I would have to suggest skipping any type of bread – because you’ll get full very quickly! But you know what…if you want bread, you’ll get it!

I sure hope you like the desserts if you visit a buffet in Vegas, because there’s usually a great dessert party going on. The buffet at Wynn is no exception! In fact, I think their dessert selection might be the best in town.
. I mean…just look at these things? They’re all high quality – cakes, cupcakes and individual servings of specialty desserts that you might find at upscale restaurants, bakeries or cake shops.
They have a variety of twelve gelato ice cream flavors – a mix of unique and traditional flavors. The great thing (honestly, no pun originally intended, but in hindsight, it worked out well) is that they serve you
