Venetian Hotel And Resort In Las Vegas – Of all the hotels in Las Vegas, few have the same opulence as the magnificent Venetian and its twin, The Palazzo.
The complex is the second largest hotel resort in the world in terms of number of rooms and stunning architecture with the Grand Canals of Venice replicated in complete authenticity.

While most Las Vegas mega-resorts are operated by either MGM Resorts International or Caesars Entertainment, the Venetian is not affiliated with either. That means the owners make the property a higher priority than others on the Strip, but its rewards card doesn’t give you anything when you go outside the resort.
Reasons Why You Should Stay In Luxurious Venetian Las Vegas
The Venetian, along with the Mirage, is at the northernmost tip of what most people consider the central area of the Las Vegas Strip.
Much more to the side than it actually is. A lot of this has to do with how far it is from the road, so it can take a while to get to the Strip before you can start exploring it.
However, its location is generally normal. Mirage is across the street and Harrah’s is next door. Wynn/Encore and Treasure Island are just a bit to the north, and the newly built Resort World is also nearby.
As mentioned, getting around from a Venetian resort can seem a bit more complicated than other properties due to the time it can take to get out of the resort.

Generally, you’ll find most Vegas icons within walking distance. Paris and Cosmopolitan might be a hike, but Caesars Palace and Bellagio are easier.
There are no pedestrian bridges on this stretch of the Strip, so you’ll have to test your patience by using one of the crosswalks to get to the Mirage and Caesars Palace.
To access the great MGM properties on the south side of the Strip, I recommend hopping on the Las Vegas Monorail at nearby Harrah’s and traveling to the MGM Grand.
Undoubtedly, the Venetian and the Palazzo have the best standard rooms in Las Vegas. The bar here is also incredibly high.

The Luxury King Suite is the smallest you will get. It’s a whopping 650 square feet with the living area down a small flight of stairs, and it really feels incredibly premium. The bathrooms are also impressive.
You can upgrade whenever you want, and the rooms will only get more exciting when you do, but why would you?
Hotel amenities are also premium with a large pool complex, salon, spa, gym and business center.
The game room is also one of the largest in the city, and the Palazzo has another one of the same. You can read more about the Venetian Casino in our separate guide.

There are too many options for Venetian cuisine to cover them all, but suffice it to say, you’re unlikely to find a wider selection of quality eateries anywhere in the city.
Upscale dining is available at Mott 32 (Asian) and the resort has no fewer than three steakhouses. As you would expect with the theme, there are plenty of Italian options to enjoy as well.
In addition to Mott 32, Asian food lovers can enjoy The X Pot, Noodle Asia, The Hong Kong Café and TAO Asian Bistro.
If you like a more casual meal, you should check out one of the two Grand LUX cafes on the hotel grounds, especially if you like the breakfast buffet, and the Rockhouse. Royal Britannia Gastropub is another great option.

There are also several seafood restaurants and two that offer Mexican cuisine, one with canal-side dining.
You’ll also find the Grand Canal lined with smaller bakeries and fast food outlets, and the food court attached to the arcade is one of the best in Las Vegas.
The variety is also impressive for nightlife, and TAO is a real destination for many. There are also several cocktail bars and even a karaoke bar for those so inclined.
Spiegelworld’s Atomic Saloon Show is a residency, and it’s exceptional. There’s a cowboy theme that provides a wild and bawdy romp through the wild, wild West. However, expect the odd nun to make an appearance as well.

The Venetian also has a very large theater that fills it with a number of guest stars and shows.
Chicago, Willie Nelson and ZZ Top are just a few who have made brief spells there in the past. Indeed, there’s rarely a time when a headliner isn’t on the Venetian skyline.
The theme at the Venetian is at such a level that the resort itself is one giant attraction. However, the Grand Canal and its gondolas are perhaps its highlight.
You can cross on a traditional Venetian boat while you are serenaded.
What It’s Like Staying At The Venetian Las Vegas
At the time of writing, MSG’s incredible realm is nearing completion. When it opens, the Venetian will feature a domed music venue with outdoor LED lighting that is sure to be a hit with patrons for years to come.
There are several pools, all with very different vibes, and you’ll probably get a sun lounger by the pool.
You can rent booths, couches and sunbeds of premium class. You can also enjoy poolside drinks and spa treatments, while there are two different pool clubs to join in the partying if that’s your type of activity.
The Venetian is an incredible resort that is incredibly easy to love. The theming is the best in Vegas and manages to maintain an incredibly elevated feel around it.

Cons: The location isn’t the best, mostly because of how long it takes to get from your room to the Strip. It is also very expensive. It’s worth the price, but there are much cheaper options out there.
