Wynn Las Vegas Resort Room – There are a few hotels in Las Vegas that I have yet to experience, but the Wynn has been sitting on my to-do list for a while. I stay at the Strip frequently, and it’s hard to pull the trigger on a high-end resort when you have discounts or combo room offers from other chains.
To book the Wynn at a discount, I used the Wynn Slots phone app. Although it was now impossible to get a free room without in-app purchases, booking through the game was still a solid deal. I spent about $250 for a 2-night stay, which would have cost me over $600 if booked directly through Wynn. Notably, the $45/night resort fee is waived when booking through the Wynn Slots app, adding to the value proposition.

It should come as no surprise that my stay in a Wynn Resort King Room was impressive. Below, I’ll share my experience with lots of photos and videos to help you get a feel for the room!
Complimentary Hotel Review: Wynn Las Vegas
Vin emailed me to let me know at 1:00 am on the day I was scheduled to check out. I did and received an email at 11am saying my room was ready and I could pick up my keys at the front desk or an automated kiosk.
There was no line so I opted for an automated kiosk, and I had no intention of asking for an upgrade or trying the $20 trick. Within 5 minutes, the kiosk spit out my room keys and I headed to the elevator to check into my room.
Many resorts now charge for early check-in, and it was refreshing to offer that little luxury for free. A great start.
The room assigned to me was on the 14th floor facing the bar. It was also outside the elevator room and it scared me. There’s nothing worse than hearing the elevator “ding” at all hours of the night when you need some sleep. Surprisingly, apart from the occasional neighbor’s door opening or closing, I never heard any dings or noises.
Wynn Las Vegas Unveils New Luxury Accommodations
The Resort King bathroom had a deep soaking tub which I suspect was big enough for two people. I’m a 6′ 5″ giant personally, but I was able to squeeze my narrow frame in with room to spare. The shower is large, covered with glass and completely enclosed. Inside there is a bench and a detachable shower head.
As you’d expect, double vanities and premium bath products are stocked in the bathroom and on the vanity. I’m not exactly a bath product expert, but these are the things I actually used. Seriously, if staying at the Wynn, don’t worry about forgetting body wash, shampoo, etc.
Man, that’s beautiful. Like a work of art. From striking checkered carpets to illuminated floral murals on the walls, the resort’s king room is no feast for the eyes. Hell, even the minibar (too cheap for me to even consider touching) was visually appealing.
The TV is not visible from the bed in its receded position, but the wall mount allows it to be angled so that it can be viewed from wherever you are in the room.

Other amenities in the room included a small desk with 2 chairs, an ottoman couch, and a work desk with a chair too short to make ergonomic sense, but I made it work.

My favorite aspect of the room, however, was the draped layout facing the window that provided a view of the bar.
It wasn’t a big problem, but cell phone reception (T-Mobile in my case) was non-existent in my room. Although wireless Internet is included in the resort fee, I was left out, meaning I had to pay up to $19.99 per device per day for wireless.

Wynn’s hotel product is already among the best in Las Vegas, and they recently announced a $200 million renovation project that will begin in summer 2021 and be completed by early 2022. The best gets better.
The icing on Wynn’s cake is the technology that gives you options to control room features and the ability to access information about the resort.
There are touchpads on the wall that let you adjust the lighting and open/close the curtains, and there’s also a tablet-like device that lets you do it from the bed. The tablet also offers the ability to illuminate a privacy light, get weather information and set alarms.
Taking things a step further, every hotel room at the Wynn is equipped with an Alexa device that lets you play music, operate restaurant/facility hours, set lighting, adjust curtains, change temperature and turn privacy on/off. Lighting. Your personal device can be easily paired with Alexa in your room.

Wynn’s luxurious amenities extend beyond your hotel room. We absolutely loved taking advantage of the pool each morning before hitting the town.
Shaped like an elongated barbell, the main pool consists of two large pools connected by a long, narrow section between them.
There are plenty of lounges scattered throughout the complex and we were able to find both shade and sun. Of course, like several table games, there is a pool bar.
Surrounded by plant life and beautiful cabanas, Vince’s pool deck is an unmissable resort experience.
Wynn Panoramic View Room
I’m not a shopping person, and shopping is usually a big “no” when planning travel itineraries. Wynn’s Plaza Mall is a notable exception, though it ranks among the best shopping experiences in Las Vegas.
Despite the luxurious shops, Urth Cafe is a great place to grab a cup of coffee, and the aesthetic beauty is the reason you should take the time to visit. In addition to being easy on the eyes, stores always display intriguing art.
If you haven’t had a chance to stay at the Wynn yet, do it. The rooms at the Strip are the most luxurious, and that seal of quality is reflected throughout the resort. From the pool, to the dining options and common areas, the Wynn is among the most beautiful properties in Las Vegas.

Interestingly, I never had a room without a separate water closet (is this an accessible room?). I have never had a tablet in my room in my 5 stays (beginning of July was my last stay), hope that comes with the new decor team! Great review, it’s a great resort!
Back to Wynn Las Vegas and be sure to stay on the Encore side of the property. Encore rooms are significantly larger and offer a different experience.
