Wynn Las Vegas Spa Specials – My stay in the 1,817-square-foot Salon Suite at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas made a routine business trip much more enjoyable.
I wrote here how I upgraded. This review will focus on the apartment and hotel facilities. John, my business partner, arrived at the hotel the day before me so I can’t comment on the quality of the check-in experience. I will mention that the hotel has a separate entrance and check-in area for the Tower apartments.
Wynn Las Vegas Spa Specials
As you enter the suite, you are greeted with a large living room with two full size couches, mirrored ceilings, a wet bar, a dining table, and a desk.

Just beyond the entrance, a door on the left opens to the guest bathroom (no shower) and a door on the right leads to the massage room. For a pretty penny, the hotel will send a masseur to your room.
The bedroom contains one double bed with excellent bedding, two chairs and a chest of drawers.
The master bathroom is huge, with two closets, double sinks with plenty of work space, another dresser, separate toilet, large jetted tub and huge walk-in shower.
Since we booked with the American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts program, an $85 daily breakfast credit is included. Honestly, that’s not enough in this five-star hotel. Las Vegas used to be the place to go not only for cheap hotels, but also for cheap food. Not anymore…at least at the Wynn. Breakfast was about $115 per day for two and it’s not like we were over the top.

I had pancakes one morning and a delicious Southwestern omelette the next. John ate oatmeal all three mornings.
Room service is available 24 hours a day. The first night I got up at 4am to catch a 6am flight from LAX to LAS, worked all day and finally finished around 10pm. I tried too hard to get out and just ordered steak with soup and salad to room.
The food itself was good. My tenderloin was medium when I ordered it medium, but I was too tired to send it back and it still tasted great.
After all the fees, taxes, and tips were added up, my dinner bill jumped from $60 to $100. So I don’t recommend room service unless you like throwing money away. I should have gone out… I was so tired.
The Spas And Fitness Centers At Wynn Las Vegas & Encore
Access to the fitness center is included in the daily resort fee. Located on the spa level, the hotel has an excellent selection of the latest models of fitness equipment and free weights. I expected the gym to be a lot busier than it was, but maybe people don’t go to Vegas to work out…
Of course, the hotel has several beautiful pools, but they were packed and it was so hot that I didn’t visit them. My skin can’t handle 110ºF heat.
Our AMEX package also includes a $100 spa credit. The cheapest spa package was over $100, but I used the credit to buy $40 passes to the spa area. I really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings which included a sauna, steam room, hot tub and relaxation area. I’m sorry I don’t have more pictures, but I was lucky enough to sneak these two below during the short period I had the place to myself. Photos are prohibited inside this area for obvious reasons…everyone is undressed to some degree.
Obviously, the hotel also has a wonderful casino. Since I don’t gamble (at least that way…), I can’t comment except that there were a lot of people smoking and I couldn’t smell it: the ventilation system is working. One of my sellers lost $60 in five minutes at the craps table…a beautiful demonstration of why I don’t gamble.

Valet and self-parking are free for hotel guests. On the way out, we waited for the car for about 20 minutes.
A final note about security. The hotel seems to take security very seriously. One morning as I was walking down the hall, a uniformed employee with a bomb-detecting dog passed me. I asked if this was something new as a result of the Mandalay Bay tragedy and was told no, the K9 had been patrolling for explosives (and drugs, I suspect) for years.
To be completely honest, Vegas is not my favorite city…not by design. But I really appreciated this hotel, especially the upgrade, and highly recommend it. In terms of luxury, it did not disappoint.

Both The Spa at Wynn and The Spa at Encore are located on the spa level. Use the hotel elevators to access the spa level of each hotel.
As a courtesy to everyone, please give us six hours’ notice if you need to cancel or change your appointment. For cancellations with less than six hours’ notice, guests will be charged 50 percent of the treatment fee. For no-show appointments, the full treatment fee is charged. For my birthday last month, I decided to treat myself and go to the Wynn Las Vegas Spa for a much needed massage. I absolutely love getting massages and couldn’t be more excited to finally try the one at the Wynn. When I checked in, the receptionist told me that during the pandemic the Wynn Las Vegas Spa had undergone a major renovation so I was in for a real treat. I never had a chance to visit the old one, but the newly renovated one is beautiful!
